Nutrition

If you’re now going to take on an exercise program you must start eating properly. The body needs good quality fuel as well as rest to recover and adapt from strenuous exercise.

Let’s look at the basic macro nutrients.

Protein - Proteins are the building blocks of living organisms. Any exercise that puts strain on the musculoskeletal system needs a higher than normal proportion of protein for recovery.

Carbohydrates - These are broken down into slow and fast release. Generally you should avoid simple carbs that are released too fast into the bloodstream. Slow release choices such as wholemeal bread and sweet potato are to be preferred. The only exception is immediately before and after exercise. Carbs are you body’s energy source.

Fats - Fat consists of more calories per gram than the other two nutrients. This has led people to believe they are the main cause of people putting on weight. This is wrong. Too many calories compared to your energy expenditure is why you might put on weight. Fats are responsible for many essential bodily functions, in particularly your endocrine system that controls your hormones.

Micronutrients are also known as vitamins and minerals. These are the types of nutrients that have your parents telling you to eat more fruit and vegetables. Meat and potatoes alone is just not going to cut it. This is not a balanced diet containing everything the body needs.

The demonization of social networks

For this week i came to you with an opinion about how we lose our time inside of social networks. Even though the social platforms could be used like a weapon of marketing for your company or get information of something of our interest, the big majority of teenagers often use it only to gossip what the other persons did or how successful is a person, what did my friend do? what did my friend eat? what did my friend buy? where did my friend travel? and other things that do not contribute to the development of the human being within a society, on the contrary creates a society devoid of values, where the only thing the matters is obtain things at any cost, often leaving behind morals and ethics no one side, the misuse of Social Networks brings with it not only the problem of waste of time that could be exploited for useful things like (read, share time with your family, help people who needs) but also a problem of frustration and low self-esteem increasing the suicide rates among the population.

In the Social Networks people dont used to share sad moments, if you see the profile of anybody, you only find happy moments, so if you are seen the Wall of your SN, and you are in a bad moment in your life, you only look good things making you feel bad, and it causes depression, and other feelings that dont be great in some moments of your life. People things that everybody is happy and have the money and get your goals easily but they dont know what the people have to do for getting these things or goals just people saw the happy moment, but they dont know if the person for got these things is indebted, or the way that the person got it, taking you to states of frustration, feeling frustrated, depressed and wanting to have these things at any cost, for this reason I bring this post, with the intention that you give a good use to social networks and stop thinking that everything in life is as shown by social networks or great artists, enjoy them, exploit them to generate income, get objectives and goals, and remember that to achieve them you have to work hard, not everything is pink as seen in social network.
